Match the voltage
The adapter output voltage must equal the voltage printed on the device label.

Current with headroom
Adapter current must be equal to or higher than the device draw - 30% headroom is recommended.

Check the plug size
The outer diameter must match the jack exactly; the inner pin tolerates about ±0.2mm.

Confirm the polarity
Center-positive is the industry standard - always check the polarity symbol before connecting.
